The Aalto Running Club Half Marathon will take place on May 24, 2025. The start time is 10:03 for the 21k and 10:12 for the 10k. The event starts in Otaniemi track, Espoo.
The event follows a point-to-point route in Espoo with drink stations along the course. The route surface is 46% gravel and there is 86 meters elevation.
Participants will receive race bibs, timing chips, refreshments, goodie bags, and overall badges. Additional merchandise, such as hoodies, t-shirts, caps, and water bottles, will be available for purchase.
Yes, bag drop services will be provided at Otahalli, changing rooms and restroom are also available before and after the race at Otahalli. The bag drop opens an hour before the race starts. Limited parking spaces are available, and there is easy access via public transportation.
Designated viewing areas will be available at music points along the race course and on the Otaniemi track where the event is held.
Yes, medical support and first aid kits will be available at every drink station along the course.
There are no refunds. Tickets can be transferred to another person up to two weeks prior to the event.
Participants under 18 will need written permission from their parents to join.
Yes, there will be prizes for participants. The top 3 finishers of the half marathon in men's and women's diviion will receive shoes by Saucony. Top 3 finishers will receive Zalando giftcards in the 10k and the 4th and 5th in the 21k.
The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions. We are committed to running no matter what!
We need volunteers! The sign-up form is open and available on our social media channels and the website info page.
Water refill stations will replace single-use water bottles. Filling tanks and compostable cups will be used at drink stations and for refreshments. Printed materials, such as race booklets, maps, and results, will be replaced with digital versions available via email or the website.
Yes, there will be an afterparty (location TBA). Entertainment, including DJs and music, will also be available at select locations along the race route.
Lost and found items will be handled through the event's official channels.
